Going as far as possible… Tierra del Fuego offers an experience of complete fulfillment. It’s the end of the world, yet also the beginning of a new one.

Lined with peat and moss and covered by whimsical forests, Tierra del Fuego evokes sensations of freedom and dreams. Ushuaia, La Pataia, and once again, the end of the world. It is a realm of wind, adventurous sailors, dreams, and the exquisite sea spider.

Great peaks, wind, and infinite spaces full of strength. Lakes of dazzling blues and greens stretch out before you. Then, a large blue lake with pieces of ice drifting upon it brings you closer to unique peaks and mountains.

Suddenly, the steppe transforms into a forest, revealing Patagonia’s most beautiful secret: the sumptuous glaciers of the largest ice cap in America: Perito Moreno, Upsala, Frias, Viedma, Mayo.

Private transfer and flight to Trelew, in Chubut province. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a guide specialized in wildlife and the region, who will take you to Punta Tombo to discover the extraordinary Magellanic Penguin reserve and the remarkable marine mammals.

You will explore the Valdés Peninsula reserve, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. Its coastline is home to exceptional populations of elephant seals, whales, penguins, sea lions, and numerous species of seabirds. In February 2017, more than a million penguins were reported!

You will be amazed by the deep blue of the South Atlantic and, above all, delighted by the proximity of the Southern Right Whales, from July until the first week of December. You will cross the infinite steppe for the first time, where Guanaco llamas take shelter, solitary maras – which always seem to be plotting something – and the graceful and devoted rheas. Often, hares, as fast as lightning, will dart through the solitude of the landscape

Return your car at Trelew airport and catch a flight to the southernmost city in the world: Ushuaia.

Upon arrival, transfer to another car and embark on a guided exploration of the unique Tierra del Fuego National Park. Enjoy short hikes through lush, humid forests, where the weather is famously unpredictable—expect a mix of wind, sun, and rain. Marvel at the stunning Beagle Channel and its pebble beaches, with Hoste Island in Chile visible across the water. You’ve reached Pataia Bay—breathe deeply, you’re at the end of the world! Settle into your hotel and take in the extraordinary colors of Ushuaia Bay and the Beagle Channel over a relaxing drink. After a few hours exploring the quaint town, return your car at the airport and fly to El Calafate. Upon arrival, pick up your rental car and check into a delightful hotel near Lago Argentino lake. El Calafate serves as the gateway to discovering Argentina’s magnificent continental glaciers.

To reach Punta Banderas, you must traverse 50 km through the heart of the vast Estancias that lie between El Calafate and Los Glaciares National Park. Punta Banderas is the perfect spot to board a boat and explore the expansive Lago Argentino lake, with its large drifting icebergs and the majestic Upsala Glacier.

At Estancia Cristina, we embark on a 4×4 adventure to a viewpoint offering an unforgettable spectacle. After a short hike along the moraine of the Upsala Glacier, we are captivated by a section of the immense Patagonian ice cap.

The journey continues with a discovery of the self-sufficient lifestyle of the early 20th-century settlers and a taste of the secrets of Patagonian countryside cuisine.

The Perito Moreno Glacier seems like the result of a magic trick, but it is indeed real! It benefits from a unique location in the world.

The access road is easy—only 80 km from El Calafate—and is surrounded by an evergreen forest. The glacier’s ice walls are over 100 meters high (125 meters submerged, 70 meters above the surface) and gently slide into the Lago Argentino lake. From time to time, the crash of ice pieces falling into the milky waters of the lake reminds us of its powerful presence. Undeniably, this is one of the greatest travel experiences!

To end this excellent day, you can hike on the glacier (optional).
In the evening, drop off your car at the airport and take a flight back to Buenos Aires.
